Original caption reads: The Kingston Steam Plant now under construction on Watts Bar Lake, two miles northeast of Kingston, Tennessee, has nine generating units with combined rated capacity of 1,440,000 kw and a combined capability of 1,600,000 kw. The plant, at 80 percent load factor, will burn more than 4,000,000 tons of coals in a year. The plant is the country's largest steam station.
