Other Letters to June Bacigalupo, 1945 June-December
This collection contains letters by various soldiers. The letters are addressed to friends and family living in Memphis and Knoxville, Tennessee. It appears that a number of the soldiers corresponded with one woman in Memphis, June Bacigalupo, between 1941-1946. The letters, written both at home and abroad, discuss little more than base life and various aspects of training.
Those interested in further personal correspondence during/regarding World War II might also wish to view the following collections: MS 1259, MS 1298, MS 1314, MS 1427, MS 1608, MS 1881, MS 1892, MS 2012 and MS 2112.
