John Durham starts a registry of marches in which he participates with his enlistment on August 23, 1861 at Camp Cameron, Harrisburg, Dauphin County Pennsylvania. Numerous places and description of travel are included. He mentions the number of men killed in battle, the scenery, etc. Durham resided in Perry County prior to his enlistment.
