The A. Lee Read Scrapbook, 1902-1948, contains newspaper articles, letters, and pamphlets, mainly concerning the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Civic Chorus, and other organizations or Chattanoogans. The first folder contains the scrapbook itself, and the second folder contains loose material from the scrapbook in the order it was found. (Some items are separated by non-acidic sheets of paper to prevent discoloration.)
