Tennessee Bonds Circular, 1866 May 9
This collection consists of a Tennessee Bonds Circular dated May 9, 1866 and signed by Governor William G. Brownlow. In addition, the collection also contains an Executive Department envelope that includes an image of the Tennessee seal. On the back of the first page is an autograph letter signed, from General Horace H. Thomas, Brownlow's private secretary, sending the only available autograph of the Governor which is available.
