George Wilson Publishing Accounts Payable List, 1801 June-October
This folder contains accounts payable from June to October 1801 to George Wilson Publishing. Wilson, as partner to George Raulston, was the publisher of the Knoxville Gazette. After the partnership dissolved, Wilson moved to Jonesborough to start his own newspaper, Washington Newspaper and Advertiser, which was established in 1803. Items on the list include: whiskey and workmen, gate and window hinges, and an account payable from David Deaderick.
