Civil War Diary of William J. Robinson, 1875
This collection consists of a type-written, soft-bound copy of the Diary of Captain William J. Robinson, published in 1975. The diary focuses on the time Robinson spent as a prisoner on Johnson's Island, and originally contained autographs of one hundred six fellow Confederate officers who were also prisoners on Johnson's Island, a tribute to Marmaduke Cox, who died on Johnson's Island, a list of the Tennesseans held at the prison, and daily entries from the time of his capture through March 6, 1865. The booklet also contains information concerning The Autograph Book of William E. DeMoss.
