Ross D. Netherton Papers, circa 1978-2003
This collection includes a National World War II Memorial kit, and a Veterans History Project kit. The National World War II Memorial kit includes Memorial dedication information, including a list of events, a fact sheet for the 60th anniversary of D-Day, pamphlets, and a newsletter, featuring a message from Senator Bob Dole. The Veterans History Project kit includes information from the Library of Congress and the American Folklife Center, including a Memoir Kit for writing personal wartime recollections, a Field Kit for conducting and preserving interviews, and pamphlets on Preserving Stories of Service for Future Generations.
Also included is an undated piece of correspondence written by Helen Bullard Krechniak in reference to an exhibition of American and Japanese dolls in Japan in 1978, concerning how she intended to present her American art to an international audience.
