Ben Mason Letter, 1862 December 11
This collection contains one letter written by Ben Mason while he was stationed on the Tennessee-Virginia border in Bristol-Goodson. In the letter, Mason expresses his hope that the regiment remains in Bristol-Goodson over the winter because it suites me better than marching about and lyin out without tents. The regiment was detailed to guard a pork killing station.
