Felix G. Buchanan Letter, 1893 August 23
Col. C. A. M Daniel. Fayetteville Tenn, Dear Col., Yours of the 20th just received. Thirtyfive dollars per acre on a cash basis under the financial depression of affairs I think was a very good sale, betten than I thought could be affected at present. Nevertheless Mr. Derrick has got a remarkably cheap farm all things considered. I am busy making arrangements to visit the branch prisons in East Tenn. and have to have my papers ready by morning and have no time to write on current affairs. If it does not satisfy Mr. Derrick for you to sign the papers under that power of attorney send them down and wife and myself will sign them. All well. Love to all, Truly, Felix G. Buchanan
