This collection houses unofficial papers documenting John Shumaker's appointment as the President of the University of Tennessee and the subsequent state and internal audits that led to his resignation. The collection also includes slides and a CD-ROM of digital photographs of John Shumaker at various UT events, a calendar given out to employees, a copy of the Year In Review (2002-2003), and online articles concerning the presidential search and the scandal involving Shumaker's use of the UT plane in 2003.
