John Lee Swanson World War II Collection
This collection consists of three items demonstrating the impact of World War II on Middle Tennessee. With Second Army Somewhere in Tennessee by Gene H. Sloan documents the training of American troops destined for the European Theater in Middle Tennessee. The collection's two clippings document Camp Campbell (a POW camp in Middle Tennessee), and Pigeon Forge's annual Celebrate Freedom! event.
