This collection contains glass slides from the Army Service Forces Training program. The Army Service Forces were created from existing services in 1942 alongside the Army Air Forces and the Army Ground forces as a result of trying to minimize the number of separate entities that were reporting to General George Marshall, the Chief of Staff under Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
