University of Tennessee Veterans Affairs Records
This collection consists of records documenting veterans' affairs at the University of Tennessee, including correspondence from UT professors and administrators detailing the problems encountered with the Veterans Administration and veteran students, the development of University policies in relation to federal and state veterans policies (including the GI Improvement Bill of 1977), the establishment of a means to report unsatisfactory performance by students claiming VA benefits, and problems with VA attendance regulations.
