Biographical/Historical Note

The Department of History and Political Science was organized in 1905. The two areas were separated in 1941, though the History department continued to house a small group of anthropologists until 1946, when the Department of History was officially established as a separate entity. Prominent faculty during the time of this review included LeRoy Graf, Milton Klein, and Charles Johnson.
