This collection houses a report about the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, made by a visiting committee drawn from 24 institutions in 12 states and Mexico. The report is highly comprehensive and includes information about educational programs, financial resources, faculty, libraries, the physical plant, the graduate program, and research, among other topics. At the end of the report is a summary of recommendations and suggestions. Also included in the collection is the University’s first follow-up report to the recommendations made by the visiting committee.
