Biographical/Historical Note
LeRoy Graf, former head of the University of Tennessee’s History Department, served as editor for the Papers of Andrew Johnson, which was completed in 2000. Harold Moser, who came from Dartmouth College’s Papers of Daniel Webster, served as editor of the Papers of Andrew Jackson.
