Biographical/Historical Note

The East Tennessee Holocaust Conference, Lost but not Forgotten: Our Town – Artistic Retrievals of Holocaust Communities, was organized by Gilya Gerda Schmidt, Professor of Religious Studies and Chair of the Judaic Studies Program at the University of Tennessee. It included lectures, workshops, and art.
