Biographical/Historical Note
The University of Tennessee's School of Architecture (the only accredited architecture program in Tennessee) was established in 1965. The program grew rapidly and the School moved into a specifically designed building in the summer of 1981. The School of Architecture merged with the School of Planning in 1990 to form the College of Architecture and Planning, which continues to operate today.
