Biographical/Historical Note
Henry Ramsey Lenoir was born in 1864 to Benjamin Ballard Lenoir and Henrietta Rutledge Ramsey. He graduated from Hiwassee College (Madisonville, Tennessee) in 1880 and went on to marry Elizabeth “Bessie” Cummings Campbell. Henry and Bessie had three children together. The dates of death for Henry and Elizabeth are unknown.
