Henry Baldwin Papers
This is a collection of papers, dating 1892-1894, belonging to Henry Baldwin. A majority of these papers are pertaining to some of Baldwin's stocks and investments. There are numerous letters from his stock holders and certificates entitling him to a number of shares of stock particularly in companies based out of Tennessee and North Carolina.

Biographical/Historical Note
Henry Baldwin was born on July 24, 1850 to Sarah Harris (Mathewson) (1826-1905) and Elijah Baldwin (1820-1888). Baldwin lived in Canterbury, Connecticut and owned numerous shares of stock from companies based out of Tennessee and North Carolina. Henry Baldwin died on November 28, 1918, and is buried in the Baldwin Cemetery in Canterbury, Connecticut.
