Biographical/Historical Note
Andrew Knott was born circa 1807 near Abingdon, Virginia. He married Sarah "Sallie" Lonas (also spelled Lones) in 1830. Knott died in 1883 and is buried in the Lonas cemetery in Knox County, Tennessee.
