This document dated between March and April 1842 has two parts. The first part is a land grant by the State of Tennessee to Moses Swafford of 80 acres of land in the Ocoee District of Polk County. The second part is the sale of that land by Moses Swafford to the State of Tennessee for the sum of ten dollars.
