Biographical / Historical
The 30th Infantry Division, nicknamed the "Old Hickory" Division, consisted of men from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. Battery A was entirely made up of men from Tennessee. The division would go on to serve in combat in World War I and II as part of the 115th Artillery Regiment.
