This collection consists of a single mounted photograph taken in 1914. It pictures the ten men that made up Battery A, part of the 30th "Old Hickory" Division of the United States Army.
This print (which is an enlargement of a smaller portrait) shows Mitchell Long wearing his military uniform and standing in a studio. The reverse bears a brief biography by Long's great nephew, John M. Greene, Jr., of Memphis, Tennessee.
This collection contains nine photograph postcards featuring soldiers in World War I. The postcards are unlabeled and undated. Seven of the photographs are studio portraits. All of the photographs feature either one or two individuals.
