Elizabeth Kennedy Vanuxem Scrapbook, circa 1880-circa 1920
This collection contains the scrapbook of Elizabeth Kennedy Vanuxem. Only two photographs are dated, both from March 1894, but other photographs range from circa 1880 to circa 1920. Some photographs are of band members, possibly actors and actresses, and family portraits. Some handwritten notes and writings are also included. Elizabeth's name is inscribed in the scrapbook as "Elizabeth Vanuxem Kennedy."

This collection consists of a single German-language songbook entitled Musikalische 5 Cent Collection most likely dating from 1883. It provides the lyrics and music for three songs: The Christmas Light (Das Weihnachts=Licht), Wenn der Herr die Gefangenen Zions erloefen wird (When the Lord Delivers Zion's Captives) and Fortfestung (A Mighty Fortress). The final two pieces constitute a musical setting of Psalm 126. This copy was printed in Knoxville, Tennessee by Tilghman Haws.
