Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: This collection consists of two writs issued by the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions in Davidson County, witnessed in October of 1794. The first writ in this set instructs the Sheriff of Davidson County to collect the money that John Anderson and his wife recovered against Sackfield Macklin in a recent court case.
