This land included the location of Granny White's tavern, the only business of its kind between Nashville and Franklin. The land was purchased from Woolsey Warrington of Nashville for $300. The deed also features dates of entry and registration in the Davidson County records on the verso side, signed by Andrew Ewing and Nathan Ewing.
