This black, faux leather bound notebook belonged to Dr. Ottie Milburn (O. M.) Swanay, who practiced pharmacy in both in Treadway and Rogersville, Tennessee. It contains handwritten entries detailing the symptoms of various diseases and the recipes for the prescriptions used to treat them.
