Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: This collection consists of photocopies of articles written in the early 1900s by Confederate soldier Charles Stephen Olin "C.S.O." Rice's memories of events in the Civil War. In four of the articles, Rice writes about his Civil War experiences including the campaign at Vicksburg during 1862-1863 and the Battle of Nashville in December 1864.
