Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: This collection consists primarily of a list of payments, dated September 21, 1818, made on Andrew Jackson's plantation at Melton's Bluff, Alabama. The first seven entries are written by Richard Massey (the plantation's overseer); the remainder of the list is written in Jackson's hand.
