This collection houses ration books issued to the Luttrell, Walling, McClure, Dunwoody, Aucker, Johnston, and Goehring families of Knoxville, Tennessee and to the Bucklew family of West Virginia during World War II. Ration books one through four are represented in addition to ration tokens and wallets to hold these materials.

Stanley J. Folmsbee Letters

Abstract These five letters were written to Dr. Stanley Folmsbee between 1942 and 1945. In 1942, Ed Glass discusses the USAF, some of his predictions for the war, and his work with the Office of Price Administration. In 1944, Theron Alexander writes two letters, one thanking Folmsbee for using his thesis (written at the University of Tennessee in 1939) and one describing his life in New Guinea.
