24th Kentucky Infantry Muster Roll
This collections contains a muster and pay roll from October 31, 1863, signed in Knoxville, Tennessee, documenting 38 men in Company E of the 24th Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Infantry.
117th Illinois Volunteer Infantry (Company B) Medical Ledger
Seventy page battlefield ledger for Company B of the 117th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. The ledger includes daily medical reports from January 24th to April 15, 1863. During this time the company was stationed at Ft. Pickering, Tenn. defending Memphis. Patients are listed by name and action (i.e. excused from duty, assigned modified duty, sent to hospital, or quarantine). A small loose piece of paper -- possibly a prescription or doctor's note -- is included among the pages.

Lanphear Family Letters
The Lanphear Family Letters, 1854-1872, document the Civil War-era experiences of a Minnesota family. The majority of the letters are from George Lanphear, a soldier with the 2nd Minnesota Infantry who spent most of the war in Tennessee.

Society of the Army of the Tennessee Ribbons
Collection contains two commemorative ribbons from the seventeenth and nineteenth reunions of the Society of the Army of the Tennessee. The ribbons are printed with gold text that states the event and dates. The seventeenth reunion took place in Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota, on August 13 and 14, 1884. The nineteenth reunion was held in Rock Island, Illinois, on September 15 and 16, 1886.

Tilghman Blazer Papers
This collection consists of two notebooks that Tilghman Blazer kept between 1864 and 1892. The first details his military experience as a member of Company K of the 8th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry (Union) in Georgia and Tennessee during 1864, and the second contains classroom rosters and business transactions written after his return to Cocke County, Tenn.
William A. Smith Letter
William A. Smith of the 116th Pennsylvania Infantry (also called the Irish Brigade) wrote this letter to his family in Chester County, Pennsylvania on August 30, 1863. In it, he reports that three men from the 2nd Division (one from the 71st Pennsylvania Infantry and another from the 20th Massachusetts Infantry) were executed for desertion and speculates that some from his own regiment might suffer the same fate.
W.W. Gibson Civil War Papers
This collection contains three muster sheets of Company I, 11th Texas Cavalry, and four copies of letters written by W.W. Gibson to his significant other, Lizzie Crawford of Knoxville, TN. It is transcribed by C.L. Gibson of Knoxville, TN.
