Abstract

This collection contains a list of those buried in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee. The survey was conducted by Roscoe C. D'Armand in 1960, adding to a survey conducted by Dr. Andrew P. White in 1901, when several graves were moved in preparation of construction on the church. The typed document in 35 pages in length.

Abstract

This collection features a handwritten history of several historic Presbyterian churches in Knox County, Tennessee, written by Jean Russell in 1928. Russell writes about the histories of Grassy Valley Presbyterian Church, which divided into Pleasant Forest Presbyterian Church and Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, as well as Old Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She also details how Grassy Valley Presbyterian Church consolidated with the Concord Cumberland Church in 1910.
