Abstract

Sarah Bet begins this letter to her cousin Jane T. Woods with her apologies that she has little of interest to relate. Bet believes that Woods would rather be living at home with her family than confined at school with those "dry studies" and goes on to relate news of recent visitors and marriages. She closes by asking her cousin to give her love to her friends and to write soon.
