S. D. Cabaniss Expense Report Regarding Martha Allen, 1846 February 27-March 20
S. D. Cabaniss created this list to document the expenses that Martha Allen incurred during her trip to and from Lexington to visit her daughter Virginia Allen at Elk River. The majority of the charges are for lodging and pikeage, but several document such purchases as a pair of boots for the driver, a Bible for Virginia Allen, and several articles of clothing.
