This notebook, consisting of 38 typed pages, is an "Index of Documents, Letters, Newsclippings, Photographs, Portraits, Biographical Sketches and a Genealogical Chart Relative to the Family of Mrs. Edward F. McCrossin, nee Florence Niles Rogers Between the Years of 1813 and 1948." The papers in this index concern the McGhee family, the Humes family, J. A. H. Otey, the Niles family, and the Ingraham family. Also included are an extensive genealogical listing of the descendents of John Niles (d. 1693) and a family tree that begins with Moses White (father of James White) and ends with Edward F. McCrossin III. Only a few of the indexed letter transcriptions are included in this volume.
