Henry Elliott Letters, 1863 December-1864 April
Henry Elliott's letters consist of commentaries on his financial situation, reports of troop movements, and his overall status in his particular Regiment. Elliott writes to various friends and family members including his sister, brother, and his parents, wherein he details his interactions and engagements with the rebels in Tennessee. He also explains in detail the hardships of his soldierly life during the Civil War. The letters date from December of 1863 to April of 1864.
