This broadside, published by the Columbia Telescope (S.C.) on 1829 March 9, provides a transcript of the inaugural address that Andrew Jackson delivered on 1829 March 4 in Washington, D.C. In it, Jackson outlines his domestic and foreign policy goals and discusses his intention to stand for the rights of states, limit executive power, handle agriculture, commerce, and manufactures unequivocally, and ensure the fair treatment of the Indians.

This historical reference pamphlet, published by the Historical Branch, G-3 Division of the U. S. Marine Corps, provides of narrative of U. S. military operations in Nicaragua from 1910 to 1933. Originally written by Bernard C. Nalty in 1958, this 1968 reprinted and revised edition also provides a political and military history of American activities in Nicaragua. The pamphlet contains two full page maps: one of Nicaragua and another of the northern districts of the country.

She mentions making two flannels for her brother, Perez Dickinson, a prominent Knoxville merchant and banker. She also discusses Dr. Joseph Churchill Strong, one of the first physicians to settle in Knoxville and a frequent visitor at the Estabrook home.
