This is a letter from R. L. (Dick) Hutcheson at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Memphis, Tenn., to his parents Mr. & Mrs. L. M. Hutcheson in Dexter City, Ohio, on November 26, 1948. On his Thanksgiving Dinner Menu, he writes about the meal and what he wants to do that day (see a movie, smoke cigarettes, etc.).

This collection contains a copy of the Jewish Holy Scriptures, printed by the U. S. Army in 1942 with an introduction by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. There is also a letter from Ralph J. Mensch in Memphis to his parents Mr. & Mrs. George Mensch, Sr. It describes the uniforms and other items he received from the army, and it discusses his schedule for the day (Victory in Europe Day).
