Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: This collection consists of three copies of the panel discussion and drafts of the forward written for the 1969 Southern Literary Festival which was held at the University of Tennessee. The theme of the festival was The Writer and His Tradition and focused mainly on American Southern writers and literary scholars.
