This is a collection of manuscripts and writings from Marguerite Bartlett Hamer dating from 1933 to 1935. Included is a bound journal with Hamer's handwritten notes and writings. Also included are two typescript manuscripts from Hamer, "Just Back from Russia: Thoughts of a Casual Tourist" and "The Foundation and Failure of the Silk Industry in Provincial Georgia."

This collection contains a single typed report entitled "Outline of Muscle Shoals Properties" by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

This is a collection of 18 black and white photographs taken by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The photographs mainly depict construction sites and equipment and are dated circa 1942. Only one photograph includes identifying information; this photograph shows the beginning construction of Douglas Dam.
