This collection consists of the personal papers of Ada Campbell Larew and includes manuscripts, historical essays, poems, plays, and short stories authored by Larew. Also available are personal correspondence, press clippings, and memorabilia.

Seven black and white photographs from the Park Hill Center of Cherokee Culture in Park Hill, Oklahoma, and nearby Fort Gibson National Cemetery, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, taken by C. J. Doub in 1947. The grave sites of Chief John Ross and General Stand Watie are featured in several photographs.

This collection features a single photo-postcard of a Cherokee woman and child on the porch of a house in 1931.

This collection contains copies of five photographs from the Cherokee Indian Fair of 1930, including four images of the ball players and their ball game and one image of a blow gun practice.

This appeal bond on behalf of Cherokee Chief Nunna Hi-Diha Pathkiller was signed by Return J Meigs III, Pathkiller’s acting attorney. The material included in the collection is an appeal bond to the Supreme Court at Knoxville. The case was a contest over the title to lands settled by the Blair Family in what is now Loudon, Tennessee. Ultimately, the courts sided with the Blair Family.

This collection consists of two papers written by William H. Thomas on Colonel Return Jonathon Meigs and the Eastern Cherokee Claims.

A handwritten diary, written between 1834 and 1838, by a Disbursing Agent for the removal of the Cherokee Indians from the southeastern United States. The diary follows the author's travels through the southeast in the time leading up to the removal and documents their work and interactions with the Cherokee people.

In a letter dated August 16th, 1820, Gideon Morgan writes to John C. Calhoun regarding the lands he obtained in 1819 around the Citico Creek area of Tennessee.

This collection consists of a manuscript for a book entitled History of the Cherokee Indians, written in 1935 by Penelope Johnson Allen. It documents the history of the Cherokee Indians in the Southeastern United States and their dealings with white settlers from the 1770s until their removal to Indian Territory in the late 1830s.

This book, titled Cash Book for Monies belonging to the Cherokee Indian Factories, contains a listing of debits and credits to Cherokee Indian factories in Tellico, Tennessee and Coleraine, Georgia from March 10, 1797 to April 26, 1798.

J. J. G. Smith's letter to his brother (January 2, 1838) discusses his upcoming travels as a river boat captain. He also considers the benefits of taking a job on shore or continuing to work on the river.

This collection contains one detailed bill from 1797 for James Collingsworth for "smith work done by him for the Cherokee" as he was ordered to do by General Robertson.

This collection consists of two letters and a report that deal primarily with Native American relations near Nashville, Tennessee.

This document is a typed copy of a letter that James Sevier wrote to L. C. Draper on August 19, 1839. In it, Sevier discusses his and his father's service on the Appalachian frontier during the Revolutionary War, where they fought in the Battle of Kings Mountain and in several smaller campaigns against the Cherokee. He also briefly recounts conflicts between Native Americans and white people in the decade following the American victory.

This collection consists of a letter from John Ross to Edward Gunter and a warrant to pay Mr. Mawry from the school fund.

This collection houses a single handwritten letter from John Sevier to an Honorable [M] Smith in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1792 regarding the region's escalating hostilities with the Creek and Cherokee nations.

This collection features a letter from John Williams to Col. Gideon Morgan regarding relations between the Cherokee Indians and the U.S. government.
