Estelle Jarnagin Naff Collection
This collection consists of an article written by Estelle Jarnagin Naff entitled "The Battle of Mossy Creek: Yankees Defeat Rebels." This article ran in The Jefferson County Standard on Wednesday, January 6, 1954, and gives an account of the Battle of Mossy Creek that was fought on December 29, 1864, in what is now Jefferson City, Tennessee. Also included in the collection is a descriptive letter about the article. The letter is dated March 8, 1954.

Lonas Tarr Oral History
This collection consists of a transcript of an interview with Lonas Tarr by G. Kurt Piehler and Kathryn P. O'Donnell conducted on March 7, 2003 in Knoxville, Tennessee as part of the Center for the Study of War and Society's Veteran's Oral History Project. Tarr speaks of his childhood in Jefferson City, his experiences in the Air Force during World War II, and his postwar life working as an American Airlines pilot in Europe.
