This collection houses the papers that John J. McDow created and maintained during his service as the Dean of Admissions and Records and as a Professor and Head of Agricultural Engineering.

This collection houses correspondence, bills, order forms, and other materials documenting the Offices of the Bursar and Registrar from 1891 to 1915. Of particular interest are the letters written to and from President Brown Ayres and the materials showing the Filipino students who studied at U. T. in the early 1900s.

This collection houses correspondence created by the Office of the Provost or its equivalent between 1973 and 1991. During this time, the office was occupied by George W. Wheeler (1924-2002). The earliest and latest materials in the collection were created by the Provost's predecessor and successor Offices.
