Also included is a copy of Harriet Beecher Stowe's Palmetto Days.

This collection includes “Songs and Tales from Fairyland” by Alexander Abbey Piper. The verses and songs are dated June 1927–June 1931. The subjects of the verses and songs include love, spirituality, and stories for children. The book was a present to John C. Hodges from Piper and includes a handwritten inscription by Piper in the front of the book dated June 1931.
