Davidson County, Tennessee Court Judgment Letter, 1793 October
Andrew Ewing of Davidson County, Tennessee wrote this letter to the sheriff of Sumner County in order to extract the remaining balance of six pounds and eleven shillings from a suit that had been brought against James Montflorence in July 1793.
William Harris Land Grant, 1812 August 6

These two surveys were performed on behalf of Jacob and Margaret Thomas of Blount County, Tennessee. William King Papers, 1846 September 22-1848 July 4

Sam Anderson wrote the final letter to inform King's family of his death on board a ship bound for home. Also included are two newspaper clippings describing the letters and their contents.

He also writes of ailments in his family and of upcoming elections, expressing distaste for a particular candidate, John Overton, whom Hunt believes falsely claims to support farmers' interests.
