The Tennessee League for Nursing (TLN) Records, 1947-1991 (bulk 1970-1985), consists primarily of the records of the organization's president. These records include correspondence, annual reports, Board of Directors meeting minutes, and information of TLN chapters and committees. Also included are some papers related to associated organizations, such as the National League of Nursing and the Southern Regional Assembly of Constituent Leagues for Nursing.

Abstract This collection includes 27 handwritten and typewritten letters sent to officers in the Tennessee Library Association (TLA) between 1958 and 1964. Several of the letters are written to TLA presidents Ruth Ringo and Dorothy Ryan in response to requests for appearances. Tennessee Militia Infantry Muster Roll

Abstract This muster roll lists the names and ranks of the 85 men serving in the 1st Regiment of Tennessee Militia under Captain William McKay from June 20, 1814, to January 27, 1815. Besides Captain McKay, the regiment consisted of three lieutenants, five sergeants, six corporals, an ensign, a drummer, a fifer, and 68 privates. Tennessee Partial Medical Ledger

Abstract

This ledger begins on August 15th, 1827 and consists of thirteen pages -- or twenty six, front to back. A couple of pages have had a portion cut out, which was occasionally done when accounts were settled. The last date is 1837. The ledger was found in a grouping of papers from Wilson and Smith counties (Tenn.) and the among the names which appear on the ledger are Jones Bishop and Joseph Bishop.
