Athene Circle Records and Other Materials
This collection houses meeting minutes, memorial resolutions for Anna Chandler and Angie Warren Perkins, correspondence, a narrative of a trip to Panama, and other materials documenting the Athene Circle of Knoxville, Tennessee. Much of the information shows Anna Chandler, one of the Circle's earliest members.
Atomic Bomb Booklets
Attwood Ledger
This collection consists of a 1853-1870 ledger book by Attwood from the Memphis, Tennessee area. Transactions involve the purchase of lumber, stone cutters, and sales of building lots. This collection also contains two loose receipts one of which is undated while the other is dated 1878.
Aubrey M. Roberson Collection
Auburn W. Herron Jr. Papers
This collection documents Auburn W. Herron Jr.'s military service during World War II and the Korean Conflict. The collection contains a photocopy of a flight logbook, documenting August 1944 to June 1945 and kept by a crewmembers of Herron's, David McKnight. Also included is background information written by McKnight providing details of Herron's life during the war. Lastly, the collection contains a CD-ROM of photographs taken by Herron 1950 to 1956 during the Korean Conflict.
Auguste Davezac Letter to James K. Polk
This collections contains a letter written April 20, 1845, and sent to Washington by Auguste Davezac to President James K. Polk. Davezac recommends that President Polk appoint P. J. Sullivan to the State Department.
Auguste Jules Truan Ledgers
This collection houses ledgers and address books kept by Auguste J. Truan of Greeneville, Tennessee documenting purchases and other transactions that took place between 1876-1886 and 1911-1913.
Austin Peay Appointment
In this 1926 document, Tennessee governor Austin Peay appoints Miss Mary E. Baker as a delegate to the 50th Anniversary Conference of the American Library Association. This conference was held October 4-9, 1926, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Autobiography of a Country Boy
In this book, John Richard Blanton describes his childhood in Unionville, Tennessee, his education at the University of Tennessee in the 1920s, and his later career as a teacher and school administrator in primary and secondary schools in Spring City, Nashville, and Jackson, Tennessee. He also provides some information about his service in World War II and about his ancestry, including a genealogical chart of the Blanton and Crisp families.
Autograph Collection
This collection includes a collection of 106 autographs from prominent individuals (1782-1947) such as George Washington, Daniel Webster, Cornelius Vanderbilt, and Helen Keller to recognize a few. The autographs themselves are found on letters, portraits, and passports. News clippings and auction slips pertaining to the autographs have also been included.
Autographed Original Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction
This collection consists of the 162-page original screenplay for the 1994 motion picture Pulp Fiction, written by Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary. The title page is autographed by Tarantino, who also directed the film. The screenplay is dated May 1993 and includes a signifier that it was the final draft.
B. C. Neal Account Book
This is a record book owned by garage mechanic Ben Comer Neal of Unionville, Tennessee. It lists the services provided by Neal at his garage as well as the amount he charged each customer between 1915 and 1923.
B. Carroll Reece Papers
The B. Carroll Reece Papers, 1921-1944, consists of letters and envelopes to or concerning George S. C. Slagle of Jonesboro, Tenn., or dealing with disabled WWI soldiers. It also includes a copy of the book about the contested Congressional election between Reece and O. B. Lovette in 1932.
B. Dufield Letter
In this letter to John Lellyett, Treasury Agent Benjamin Dufield reports that Federal troops have been confiscating cotton without orders from the Treasury Department even though the region they are working in is not pro-Confederate. Dufield also expresses his hope that higher officials will take action to correct the problem.
B. F. James Notebook
This notebook contains an account of the military actions of B. F. James, a Sergeant with the 51st Consolidated Tennessee Infantry (Confederate), as well as records of James' business transactions from the late 1860s and early 1870s.

B. F. Sherman Receipt
This collection consists of a receipt for corn and horses delivered to the 10th Michigan Cavalry in January of 1864 during the Knoxville Campaign.
B. R. McKinnie Carte de Visite
This collection contains a single black and white carte de visite of B. R. McKinnie (sometimes spelled McKinney). The date on the verso side (1861-1865) suggests this photograph was taken during the Civil War.
