This collection houses six reports compiled by the Water Resources Research Center between 1979 and 1985.

This collection houses two letters that Union soldier Watson B. Smith wrote to his mother, Mary Amanda (Birchard) Smith, on September 23, 1863 and October 1, 1863. In them, Smith discusses Union operations in the Knoxville Campaign, life in headquarters, and news from the Battle of Chattanooga.

This collection houses five letters written by Watson B. Smith in the field in Tennessee in November and December 1863 to his father and a general order congratulating another commander. The letters discuss his promotions and battles against the Confederates near Knoxville and offer his regards to his family.

This collection contains Wayne Wilson's copy of a book entitled "From Bruyeres to Brenner: The Combat of the Fighting 411th" about and written by the 411th Infantry Regiment in 1945. The material is a photocopy of the publication but does include Wilson's handwritten notations throughout the book.

This collection houses programs documenting the Welding and Testing Technology Exhibition and Conference from 1976 to 1997. This meeting was held annually in Knoxville, Tennessee and was intended to discuss all aspects of energy use.

William Jones (nephew of Samuel Roberts) collected these papers. He and Richard Roberts were the trustees of Samuel Roberts' will and were entrusted with the responsibility of seeing the land claims through to resolution. Included are copies of documents dealing with original land purchases from E. D. Saxton, maps showing the locations of the purchased tracts, testimonies of William and Richard Edward Jones, and brief accounts of the history of the Welsh Colony written by William Jones.

This collection includes five cloth maps of areas in Asia used during World War II.

This collection contains the diary of Wesley Smith Dorris, a private in the 30th Tennessee Infantry, Company K. Diary entries date between 1861 and 1863. Some portions, including the beginning pages and cover, are missing. Entries describe the Battle of Fort Henry of 1862, Dorris’ capture, and daily life in prisoner camp.

This collection consists of materials from a scrapbook kept by Warren T. Kennerly during his time as a delegate to the 1932 Democratic National Convention. Items include pamphlets, booklets, invitations, tickets, schedules, instructions for voting, and other ephemera.

This collection houses bank statements, bonds, loans, taxes, dividends, check stubs, and reports documenting the activities of the West Ridge Corporation in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

These two record books document the work of the West Tennessee Experiment Station between 1924 and 1948. Record Book #1 covers general farm rotations (including wheat, clover, and cotton) from 1924 to 1948, and Record Book #13 records cotton varieties (including planting, picking, and yield) from 1924 to 1934. Each book is signed the Department of Agronomy, 1924.

This collection houses bound records documenting experiments conducted at the West Tennessee Experiment Station in 1909 and 1924. These experiments involved rotation of crops and livestock, corn, hay and pasture grasses, soybeans, and cotton.
